The cost of hiring a photobooth is actually a lot cheaper than most people think. It usually works out a lot less than the hire of a professional photographer as you are paying for equipment hire and not a persons time. You also get the photos included with the price of the photobooth whereas when using a professional photographer you have to buy for the prints separately in most cases.

A photobooth is a completely different experience to standing in front of a person holding a camera and as such, people tend to have fewer inhibitions when using a photobooth. Thanks to the fact that photobooths have special lighting installed within them, the photos produced are usually a lot more flattering them photos captured by instant cameras or camera phones. They tend to throw fewer shadows on the face and as such produce better portraits of people. The photos are a lot more memorable too.

The final reason why photobooths are so much fun to rent is that they offer instant photos. No waiting to get home and print your images or waiting a few days, if not weeks, for a photographer to edit and print your photos.
